The Good Shepherd Family Center has been a beacon of hope and support in our community since its inception. Now, as we look to the future and strive to better serve our community, we're thrilled to announce that construction is officially underway to update and maximize the space at the Good Shepherd Family Center!
A Much-Anticipated Project
The journey to this point has been filled with anticipation and excitement. From the initial talks to the formation of ministries and the expansion of our food pantry, each step has brought us closer to this pivotal moment.
The construction project aims to modernize our facilities and create a more functional space that can better accommodate the needs of our community. From upgraded amenities to improved accessibility, every aspect of the renovation has been carefully planned to ensure that the Good Shepherd Family Center remains a welcoming and inclusive space for all.

We had a most beautiful Blessing/Dedication and Open House of the new Good Shepherd Family Center at St. John of the Cross Parish. Fr. Don Oleksiak joined us for the 9:30 am Mass and blessed the newly opened center. We explored the improvements and additions of Phase 1, which includes Head Start for Early Learning and Child Care, Choice Food Pantry, and Weekly Hot Meal Program. Phase Two which includes the Senior Center, St. Gianna Ministry to Pregnant & Newborn Mothers as well as the Community Room/Center has started. The anticipated completion date is December 31.
