God has blessed us so that we could be a blessing to others.
Ss. Robert & William and St. John of the Cross have been blessed with a transformational opportunity to respond to the Gospel mandate to serve our sisters and brothers in Christ with the creation of the Good Shepherd Family Center, in partnership with Catholic Charities. A beacon of light and hope in our community.
With Phase One of the Center set to open, God has witnessed our overwhelming support and generosity for our brothers and sisters, and he is pleased.
Today, our blessings continue to grow thanks to an anonymous $250,000 matching gift challenge to help fund the next phase of the Center, including a Senior Center, St. Gianna Baby Ministry, Emergency Services, and Gathering Room.
How will we respond to God’s challenge?
This is an incredible blessing at an incredible time for us. I am confident our Parish community will come together to secure the additional $250,000 in gifts and pledges necessary to fulfill the matching gift challenge and, most importantly, begin moving forward with phase two of serving our seniors and honoring the incredible impact of Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Mark and their life-changing ministry.
I pray for you as you discern this blessing from God to be a blessing for others.
