Brandon Vogt
Director of Liturgy and Music
Director of Liturgy and Music
Brandon became deeply involved in the ministries of music and liturgy at a very
young age. At the age of ten, he became the primary cantor at his home parish
of Our Lady of Mercy in Erie, PA. After that, he became co-director of music at his home parish by assisting in the planning and execution of the music ministry. Brandon is a member of the National Pastoral Musicians and the American Choral Directors Association.
In addition, he has performed in many theatrical productions both in
college and at the Erie Playhouse.
Brandon’s Personal Message:
Have you ever even thought of being a music minister?
If you are a singer or instrumentalist please join us!
We rehearse every Wednesday at 7:00p.m. in the Church.
No experience is necessary, nor do you need to read music.
All that?s needed is a love of God and a desire to grow in music and
community! All are welcome!
As the faith community of Saint John of the Cross, let us together
glorify God in song and prayer as we continue on our journey.

Brandon is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College
Conservatory of Music. He holds his degrees in Music
and Arts Management. He is pursuing his graduate
studies in Liturgy at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
