Rosalie Lewis
Director of Religious Education
Director of Religious Education
Rosalie Lewis is the Director of Religious Education for
Saint John of The Cross Parish. She was born and rasied
in Cleveland Heights and attended Catholic schools from
grade 1 through graduate school at John Carroll. After graduating from St. John
College, she taught in various Catholic elementary schools in the diocese. Upon
completing her graduate degree in Administration and Supervision, she has had
the pleasant experience of being a principal for 17 years once again all in
Catholic Schools. It was during this time that she met her husband, Dan. They
have been married for 23 years and are active members at St. Paschal Baylon
Church.
Her role here will include a variety of Religious Education programs but most especially: the PSR program and the Sacramental Programs of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. She will also be working with the day school teachers in planning liturgies, prayer services, and retreat days for the students.
"You have been told, what the Lord requires of you: to act with justice, to love tenderly, to serve one another, and to walk humbly with God." The prophet Micah has captured for her the way she should live her life. Her goal is to serve this parish with sincerity of heart and commitment to you the parishioners of St. John of the Cross.
